Conflict of Interest
Jurnal Riset Informatika dan Komputer requires all authors to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest that may influence the research, interpretation of findings, or publication of the manuscript. Transparency in declaring competing interests is an important part of maintaining academic integrity and research credibility.
A conflict of interest may arise from financial, professional, personal, institutional, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as affecting the authors' objectivity. Authors should disclose relevant interests even when they believe that such interests did not influence the research.
1. Conflicts That Should Be Disclosed
- Financial interests, funding, grants, consultancy, employment, or other financial relationships.
- Personal or professional relationships that may affect the objectivity of the research.
- Institutional affiliations or responsibilities related to the research.
- Academic, intellectual, or competitive interests involving the research topic.
- Ownership of patents, intellectual property, products, technologies, or other interests directly related to the study.
- Any other relationship or circumstance that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research or its publication.
2. Author Declaration
All authors are responsible for declaring relevant conflicts of interest during manuscript submission. The declaration must be included in the manuscript under the Declaration of Competing Interest section. The statement should identify any relevant interests clearly and accurately.
3. No Conflict of Interest
If the authors have no conflict of interest to disclose, the following statement should be included in the manuscript:
"The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest regarding the publication of this article."
4. Author Responsibility
Each author is responsible for ensuring that the conflict of interest declaration is complete, accurate, and up to date. Any relevant conflict that becomes known after submission should be promptly communicated to the Editorial Office so that the information can be appropriately considered and recorded.
