Editorial Decision
The Editor makes the final decision after considering the reviewer reports, the manuscript's scientific quality, the authors' responses, the extent of revisions, and the overall contribution of the study. Reviewer recommendations provide important academic input but do not automatically determine the final editorial decision.
Accept
The manuscript satisfies the journal's scientific, methodological, ethical, and editorial requirements. No substantive revision is required, although minor editorial corrections may still be requested during production.
Minor Revision
The manuscript is considered scientifically sound but requires limited corrections or clarification. The revision may be assessed by the Editor or returned to the reviewers depending on the nature of the required changes.
Major Revision
The manuscript demonstrates potential contribution but requires substantial improvements. Major revisions may involve research methodology, analysis, theoretical justification, interpretation, technical validation, presentation, or other fundamental aspects.
Reject
The manuscript is not suitable for publication because of insufficient scientific contribution, fundamental methodological weaknesses, lack of originality, serious ethical concerns, inadequate evidence, substantial inconsistency, or other issues that cannot reasonably be resolved through revision.
