Editorial Records & Transparency

Editorial Records & Transparency
The Journal of Community Service and Application (JOCOSA) maintains appropriate editorial records to support transparency, accountability, and the integrity of the publication process.
Editorial Records
  • Manuscript submission information.
  • Editorial screening results.
  • Reviewer assignments and recommendations.
  • Editorial decisions and decision dates.
  • Author revisions and editorial correspondence.
  • Final acceptance and publication information.
  • Relevant publication ethics and misconduct records.
Transparency in the Publication Process
JOCOSA provides authors with appropriate information regarding the status and outcome of their manuscripts. Editorial decisions should be communicated clearly and professionally, including relevant reviewer comments or revision requirements where applicable.
Confidentiality of Records
Editorial records containing confidential information must be protected from unauthorized access. Reviewer identities and confidential review information should not be disclosed except where permitted by the journal's policies or applicable requirements.
Accountability and Corrections
The Editorial Office should maintain sufficient records to investigate questions concerning editorial decisions, publication ethics, corrections, retractions, or allegations of misconduct. When an error or ethical issue is confirmed, the journal will take appropriate corrective action.
